Eddie is a touring and session musician whose extensive resume includes performances with a variety of artists from Jazz legend Joe Henderson to Opera star Barbara Daniels, Pop star Tiffany as well as a literal “Who’s Who” of Country, Bluegrass and Americana artists: Rodney Foster, Darius Rucker, Lee Roy Parnell, Ricky Skaggs and Jack Ingram to name only a few.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Eddie also has an extensive teaching background.
“My background and focus is based around the creative side of improvisation and songwriting. It was during college where I developed my teaching method. Many teachers prescribe learning ‘licks’—it was even a requirement in our college curriculum.”
“My method is based on teaching fundamental tools, techniques and concepts needed to understand not just how to use licks but how to develop each player’s own voice on their instrument. I assess each student’s goals and work on developing the skills they need to achieve them.”
As a songwriter, Eddie has had eight songs recorded, one of these is in a movie soundtrack, and has released two albums, his most recent being named in the Top 100 albums for 2019 in the Americana Highways Magazine readers’ poll.
