Whether you are starting to learn music theory, have hit a few bumps, or consider yourself a bit “theory leery,” this course is for you! The course progresses in an organized and linear way. The curriculum sets you up with a solid foundation to grow and expand upon and transfers to every instrument. I explain and demonstrate everything in a way that you can immediately apply to your instrument and songwriting.
This course includes:
- Six video tutorials, averaging 25 minutes in length with accompanying PDFs.
- Quizzes, worksheets, assignments, tips, and insights to help you learn, understand, and apply the knowledge!
You will learn:
- The construction of the major scale, in all keys. You will learn and understand which sharps and flats belong where, and why!
- The Nashville Number system, the song chart reading and writing system used by professional musicians in rehearsals, recording studios, and performances.
- Chord construction with major, minor, diminished, and augmented triads.
- How to build chords and chord progressions from notes within a key.
