Most folks are familiar with right-hand techniques like strumming, picking, and fingerstyle but may not be aware of hybrid picking. Now that you are comfortable picking the D string and alternately picking the G string with your middle finger, let’s get your ring (or third) finger.
Do the following: pick the D string, pluck the G string, pluck the B string, pluck the G string, and then repeat. You’ll be outlining a second inversion G major chord. Again, go slowly and play in time.
