HAYLEY FAHEY
VOICE, GUITAR & PIANO

Nashville based singer-songwriter, Hayley Fahey has been writing songs since she was a girl. Singing, playing instruments, writing music, and teaching music are her life’s passions. She has been teaching her roster of students since 2012 when she was a young aspiring musician herself. Hayley got her start in the Washington D.C. area where she worked at multiple music schools and then quickly developed her own clientbase of students and families who understand that music lessons are about more than just the music. Her positivity and encouragement have inspired many of her students to pursue music, write and share their original songs, and have music as an integral part of their daily lives. Her goal is to foster a love for and understanding of music.

Hayley has been recognized for her songwriting by multiple industry professionals. She has won multiple songwriting awards including, one of 5 top finalists in the Bernard Ebb Songwriting Contest, multiple awards in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, and has been nominated for six Wammie (Washington Area Music Award) nominations. She is also a voting member of the Recording Academy. Hayley has performed solo and with her full band on many of the better festival stages along the East Coast and has played notable venues such as the 9:30 Club, The Hamilton, the State Theatre, Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club, Rams Head Live, Strathmore Music Center, and the Xfinity Center as a National Anthem singer for her alma mater, University of Maryland, among others. She has also played in bands with and been accompanied by notable music veterans including Daryl Davis (keyboard: Chuck Berry) and Keith Grimes (guitar: Eva Cassidy).
